*These 5 sites bring together the mission of the Caveman Theory, they enlighten and give women an outlet for all kinds of struggles. These sites include organizations anyone can join and be apart of to help fight for social equality for women. The first site chosen reaches out to women across the nations and the 3rd sites main focus is the treatment and equality for older women. We believe that our sites are informative and reach out a wide general public of women.

This graph shows the percent of women or men that do household chores in a average day:

This is a interesting fact that was found about how many ours are spent doing these activities:

The difference is most stark among 25- to 34-year olds, with women spending 31.7 hours per week doing the laundry, cooking and cleaning. That’s about twice as much as men, who spent just 15.8 hours on the same chores

This graph shows the number of men and women that like or dislike doing
household chores. It also shows how even though they do not like to do it women do more house cleaning and taking care of children and men do more outside of the house.

Gender Stereotyping of Women in the Media

Mission Statement

The mission of the Caveman Theory is to provide an open discussion and facts about the heated topic of gender roles in the American family. We hope to broaden the horizons of the average stereotype that condemns the women to the role of house wife and the man as the main provider by using a collaboration of Internet trends, found studies and media clips to give you different opinions and views on the gender roles that are expected in households all across the world. We believe that all men and women should feel that they are equal in their households and in the work place alike, so on May 12th we would like to bring everyone together for the annual "Men and Women Mop Together" day which celebrates both genders doing everyday household labors.
The Caveman Theory: Equal Rights for gender roles in the average household
We believe this symbol is a wonderful sign of the joining of men and women in everyday activities.
